So yeah... I'm back... in SL.. Making stuff.

When I last posted here, I was pretty active in Opensim grids, and not so much SL. I guess I'm over that, and back in SL. I've revived my brand "Kristen's ✻", except now in SL. Prevously it was only known in the popular opensim grids. Those of you who know me, will remember how much I love to make things. Scripting, Building, Meshing, Animating, fill-in-the-blank-ing... anything creative. So, now I'm making gadgets and accessories for Fennux (www.fennux.com) breedables. They are so cute!

Shadow Play -- The Results of a New Graphics Card

A couple of weeks ago, I broke my nails upgrading my old dekstop puter...    8GB memory, I5 2600K, NVIDIA GTX 570.    My last desktop upgrade about 2 years ago gave me a GT 8800.... I really thought I could see more in VWs then..  well its nothing compared to this!

3RG (my home) New Welcome Center!

Thanks to the work of Kira on 3rd Rock Grid, the Welcome Center has been upgraded.    Things are better organized, easier to find, and there is a much better view of the surrounding area.   I think its a great improvement.

Virutally Live

hmmm... another blank page.. perhaps I should post something.

My other blog posts show some things i'm doing with video capture.   I'm not very good at it.. but I'm learning...  I've now started experimenting with live broadcasting.  I've investigated livestream.com (wayyyyyyyyy too many ads), Ustream.tv (same), BlogTV (ok on the ads, but no 16:9), and Justin.tv.

I've settled on Justin.tv for now.   I use XSplit to capture and broadcast.   Its free for now, but will be a paid thing when they are done with beta.   But it IS the simplest way to broadcast.  (my opinion)

Spoze you can check me out on http://www.twitch.tv/kristenmynx  but broadcasting will be hit and miss.  Not sure what i'll be broadcasting either.... or why :P
